According to the official calendar of sports events organized in 2019 in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Committee on Affairs of Physical Culture and Sports of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan from 7 to 8 June 2019 in the city of Nur-Sultan held a republican inter-sectoral Workers ’Olympics with the participation of 12 republican industry unions:
Public association “Trade Union of Government Servants, Bank Institutions and community services”, Kazakhstan branch professional union of workers of education and science, Kazakhstan branch professional union of workers of railway, automobile, air and water transport, Sector-specific mining and smelting professional union Kazprofmetall, Sector professional union of construction workers Complex and Housing and Utilities, Industry Trade Union of Chemical, Petrochemical Workers and related industries, Kazakhstan Industry Trade Union of Power Engineers, Industry Trade Union of Machine Builders, Industry Trade Union of Information, Communication and Communication, Kazakhstan Industry Trade Union of Small and Medium Business Workers “YNTYMAQ”, Trade Union of Health Workers SENIM, Kazakhstan Oil and Gas industry trade union.

The purpose of these mass sports competitions among the working population of the country is to strengthen the health of healthy people, to involve them in active physical culture and sports, to promote healthy lifestyles and the cult of the working person as a source of well-being of their family and their country.

Competitions were held at two sports facilities of the capital: the Ice Palace of Sports “Alau”, the Central Stadium. K. Munaitpasova, in the school-lyceum number 56 and the House of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
